Welcome, brave souls. Join me, if you dare, here at thegrimalkinshearth, where the spooks gather and stories come to life—or perhaps, to death.


As the shadows lengthen and the chill of the night creeps in, I present to you my updated newsletter for September, 2026—a whisper in the dark, a flicker of light in the abyss. This month, there is much to unveil and my temporary silence was merely the calm before the storm.

Since the end of 2025 and throughout 2026, I have been actively promoting the updated version of my 2020 short story collection, All Things Truly Wicked. I have successfully completed another book which I plan to release in 2027. I'm also developing two follow-ups to that book. I have also finished another short story collection and have returned to an older project. I have been a very busy man. I'm thrilled to invite you to leave your reviews on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, and Kindle for my second edition of All Things Truly Wicked! So many of you have come forward and I am attempting at this time to try and see about communicating with you all on the site instead of just by email. At this time, I am unable to add anyone to this site. I've only increased advertising, so you may see several ads about this site. Now this should not stop you from sharing anything with me including books you are reading, publishing or writing. Artists and photographers are welcomed as well. Don't be shy. I won't bite. Much. So dare to share your own creations with me. I invite you to send forth your photos, art, or excerpts of your works, published or not. My heart beats faster for horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery, yet I am willing to explore other genres, provided they carry a whisper of the macabre, the weird and the wicked. Whatever you send to my site, whether you are going to publish it or not, will be protected. Promise! Now, quit stalling and send me som'fin, chid'gen!

It appears there has been some confusion regarding my identity due to sharing my name with several individuals. This has led to considerable frustration, and I wish to clarify this matter. If you are researching my book or looking for my press release or other stuff about me and encounter information or images about three different individuals named Anthony Pugliese, please allow me to clarify: I am not the Anthony from Del Ray, FL, who is a real estate developer, nor am I the Anthony P who is a chiropractor and author of the book The Vials. Additionally, I am not the Anthony P who works for the Department of Energy in Pennsylvania. My biography and picture are available on this website, and they accurately represent who I am.
